Homecoming is a long-standing tradition embraced by our FIU family and community. The weeklong event gives alumni an opportunity to reconnect with their alma mater and for students, faculty, staff and retirees to showcase their Panther spirit and pride.

Cheer on your FIU Panthers Football Team as they take on the Monmouth Hawks in the 2024 Homecoming Game! Join us for the 6:00 PM kick-off at the FIU Football Stadium. Students receive complimentary entrance to football game with their One Card. Tickets for all other guests are available for purchase through game day.

Your FIU Student Ambassadors invite all alumni, students, faculty and staff to attend FIU’s largest on-campus tradition, Trail of the Torch. This program brings together the FIU community for the traditional lighting of the Torch of Knowledge, Service & Opportunity.
Nominations are open for Torchbearers!
The FIU Student Ambassadors are looking for four students and one alumnus/a to serve as torchbearers for the FIU 2024 Trail of the Torch hosted at The Uncaging. The torchbearers must embody the essence of a Panther while being well-rounded, philanthropic, hardworking, and driven. We are looking for the best of the best to carry our torch at the annual Trail of the Torch ceremony.
Those selected as Torchbearers must be able to attend the Trail of the Torch Ceremony taking place at The Uncaging on Thursday, September 19, beginning at 6 p.m. at the Graham Center Lawns. Torchbearers are free to enjoy the event before and after the ceremony.

Double Panther Appreciation Breakfast

Calling all alumni who work for FIU: We want to celebrate you! Join the Division of Human Resources and FIU Alumni for our annual Double Panther event. Invited guests are asked to check with their supervisor to ensure proper office coverage before RSVPing.

Homecoming Retiree Reunion

On Homecoming Game Day, FIU retirees are invited home for a celebration in their honor. During the FIU Homecoming Retiree Reunion guests will have an opportunity to reconnect with friends and colleagues, participate in many of the exciting Homecoming festivities, and enjoy a luncheon hosted by our president. Shuttle service will be provided for guests attending the game afterward.
