This welcome event is for Stempel College students to showcase their Panther spirit and pride during Homecoming Week. It is also an opportunity for them to engage with old friends and make new ones, as well as for new students to connect with returning students. We will have information about resources and centers on campus, food, games, and giveaways to celebrate the upcoming academic year. We will invite the Stempel College student organizations as well as campus resources such as the Healthy Living Program and CAPS.

Honors Study Abroad is excited to host a Homecoming gathering with this Summer’s 2024 participants, faculty directors, program assistants, OEA, Honors Abroad alumni and the Honors College to welcome them back to campus after a summer of learning and traveling abroad.

Come connect and have fun with your family, friends, and colleagues at this carnival-inspired celebration. Enjoy carnival attractions, delicious food, and much more. The annual Trail of the Torch will take place that night, as well!

Your FIU Student Ambassadors invite all alumni, students, faculty and staff to attend FIU’s largest on-campus tradition, Trail of the Torch. This program brings together the FIU community for the traditional lighting of the Torch of Knowledge, Service & Opportunity.

Nominations are open for Torchbearers!

The FIU Student Ambassadors are looking for four students and one alumnus/a to serve as torchbearers for the FIU 2024 Trail of the Torch hosted at The Uncaging. The torchbearers must embody the essence of a Panther while being well-rounded, philanthropic, hardworking, and driven. We are looking for the best of the best to carry our torch at the annual Trail of the Torch ceremony.

Those selected as Torchbearers must be able to attend the Trail of the Torch Ceremony taking place at The Uncaging on Thursday, September 19, beginning at 6 p.m. at the Graham Center Lawns. Torchbearers are free to enjoy the event before and after the ceremony.

Calling all alumni who work for FIU: We want to celebrate you! Join the Division of Human Resources and FIU Alumni for our annual Double Panther event. Double Panthers who attend our open house-style event will enjoy giveaways, entertainment and some light bites. Invited guests are asked to check with their supervisor to ensure proper office coverage before RSVPing.

This event is free to attend, but registration is required.

On Homecoming Game Day, FIU retirees are invited home for a celebration in their honor. During the FIU Homecoming Retiree Reunion guests will have an opportunity to reconnect with friends and colleagues, participate in many of the exciting Homecoming festivities, and enjoy a luncheon hosted by our president. Shuttle service will be provided for guests attending the game afterward.

FIU takes on Monmouth University on Saturday, September 21, at 6:00 p.m. Prior to kickoff, join FIU Alumni for our reimagined Roar Lounge! Visit the many Alumni owned or managed businesses that will be showcased from 2:30 to 5:30 p.m. Bring your family and friends – everyone is welcome! For just $30 (children ages 12 and under are free), enjoy delicious food and craft drinks prepared by FIU alumni, 3 drink tickets, and activities.

Cheer on your FIU Panthers Football Team as they take on the Monmouth Hawks in the 2024 Homecoming Game! Join us for the 6:00 p.m. kick-off at Pitbull Stadium.

Stick around at your seats during half time for the Crowning of our Homecoming King and Queen!

Students receive complimentary entrance to football game with their One Card.
